Do you like the countrylife?

For a couple of weeks I found this form of litte roses at amazon.

Here is the recipe for four portions:

What you need

2 eggs

1 tablespoon cold water

70 g sugar

80 g flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

How to do

Separate the eggs and whisk the egg white until stiff. Put sugar and the yellow of the egg into it. Mix flour and the baking powder and put it on the pastry and fold it in. Bake it in the oven 20 minutes at 200 degree celsius.

Enjoy!

Und so gehts

Eier trennen und das Eiweis steif schlagen. Zucker und Eigelb unterrühren. Mische das Mehl mit dem Backpulver und ziehen es unter die Eimasse. Das ganze 20 Minuten  bei 200 Grad im Backofen backen.

DIY Bobbles Bracelet

This picture from Gillian Zinser was my inspiration for my DIY bracelet with these bobbles. You can see more pictures in the current Instyle magazine:
What you need:

bobbles
– yarn (your favorite colours)
– cardboard
– scissors and a needle
bracelet
– thread 
– perls (your favourite colours)  
How to do
On the several pictures you can see step by step, how you can form a bobble. For the bracelet itself you have to slide on the perls and then tie the bobbles up to the bracelet.

Tartlets

Yesterday I bake some sweet tartlets with fresh strawberries and blackberries. So delicious!
What you need
Pastry
125 g butter
125 g sugar
1 egg
250 g flour
Cream

150 g mascarpone
150 whipped cream
50 g powdered sugar
fresh berries (strawberries, blackberries etc.)
How to do

Mix butter, sugar and the eggs and then put flour on it und knead it. Let it cool  in the fridge ca 20 minutes.
Then put the pastry in the tartlet-form and bake it ca 15 minutes at 180 degree celsius. 
After that whip cream and mix it with mascarpone and the powdered sugar. Put it in the tartlets and decorate them with berries. Done!
Und so gehts:

Butter mit Zucker und Ei schaumig rühren. Das Mehl hinzufügen und den Teig per Hand durchkneten. Im Kühlschrank 20 Minuten ruhen lassen. Den Teig in die Förmchen drücken und cira 15 Minuten im Backofen backen.
Danach Sahne schlagen und mit Mascarpone und Puderzucker zu einer Creme verarbeiten und diese in die Förmchen füllen – mit Beeren dekorieren.  Fertig!

Selfmade Easter lamb and Easter rabbit

What you need

250 g butter
250 g sugar
5 eggs
375 g flour
1 packet vanilla sugar 
2,5 teaspoons baking powder
5 tablespoons milk
Chocolate and powdered sugar and some other decoration

How to do

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar and put successively the eggs into it. Then sift the flour and the baking powder on the pastry and mix it with the milk. Put the pastry in the lamb or rabbit form and bake it 40 minutes at 200 degree celsius. Then decoarte the lamp or the rabbit with chocolate or powdered sugar. Enjoy!

Und so gehts:

Butter, Zucker und Vanillezucker verrühren, Eier nacheinander hineingeben und zu einer schaumigen Masse verrühren. Das Mehl mit dem Backpulver über den Teig sieben und das ganze mit der Milch verrühren. Danach die Masse in die Lamm, bzw. Hasenform füllen und 40 Minuten bei 200 Grad Celsius im Backofen backen. Das Lamm und den Hasen mit Schokolade oder Puderzucker dekorieren.
